HBO starts with Mumbai Calling - A series on BPOs

Hey guys i am back with a new post & this time the subject is really inetrsting. Well its about the new series been showcased by HBO. Mumbai Calling is a comical new series with a thumping Indian star cast.

It's riotous, funny and entertaining series about the business of outsourcing will have you glued to your seats, with a twist in each episode and humorous sequences leaving you with immense anticipation and a yearning to know more!

Mumbai Calling is one of the most veiwed series by the youth. It seems that after Friends, Mumbai Calling has able to attrack the attention of the veiwers. The series revolves around a
British born Indian who is sent to Mumbai to run a call centre and his humorous encounters
with the city and its people. It is, literally, a reversal of call centre mechanics, with the protagonist being taught the accents and mannerisms of Mumbaikars.

The story is set in the Tecknobable Call Centre in downtown Mumbai where England has outsourced its mundane day to day problems to a team of tech-savvy University graduates.
The hilarious adventures of the team are recounted with Kenny Gupta (Sanjeev Bhaskar), a London born accountant who has been sent to run the centre. His journey in Mumbai is redolent with his encounters with Dev Rajaha (Nitin Ganatra), his erstwhile general manager and purveyor of clandestine goods and services who has been running the operation, and with Terri Johnson (Daisy Beaumont), a dynamic, feisty woman who comes from the UK headquarters to streamline the Indian operations.

The story is witty, well written and has rib tickling humour that is bound to engage our Indian viewers. We are especially excited because of the large number of Indians that are part of the star cast of Mumbai Calling.”
