No compromise - Security

Dear Mumbaikars,

Well in my last post I had raised an issue for the security of our army. When asked to one of the concerned person in an interview that why don't we have enough bullet proff jacket, he immediately said that such jackets are not ment for police because police don't deal with such kind of mission. But the concern is in need are we gonna wait for the NSG & the CAT commandos to come. How can someone even say that it is not required for our police. It's them who fight with the local Gundas. And this days even they have sophisticated ammunation. Is any of the politician ready to live without politicians. No. They need all kindda security but wen it comes to spending money for some good cause than they find it a meer waste of money. The reason i am stressing on this points is because in the interview he clearly said it will be a waste of money to by such jackets for all the police force. I think we need to wake them up by actually showing them how US take care of thier army force.

The Chief Minister and the Home Minister have resigned but is it all that is enough. Why are we allowing our Govt babus to just resign and get away with what they have done??? Aren't they answerable for this incident which took place. To my shock Mr R R Patil made a statement saying that such incidents happens in a big city like mumbai( Aise hadse ek aad baar ho jate hai)

Are they not to be hauled up for their failures:

1)It was reported that the Intelligence Bureau had informed and warned the Maharashtra Govt about the attacks on the two hotels....even as recently as Nov. 18th, 2008, the Intelligence Bureau had even warned about the attack being planned from the Sea.

2) It was reported that the Mumbai Macchimar Union had written about four months back to the State Govt. about false licences and registrations given to Bangladeshi trawlers to fish in the seas of Maharashtra and Gujarat and that such vessels were being used to transfer RDX.

3) It was reported that the Coast Guard was aware and was informed about the missing trawlers from Gujarat .

And yet nothing was done.....if only the Maharashtra Govt. had acted on these and many such Intelligence reports, then precious lives could have been saved.

Mumbai Terrorist Attack - Is Mumbai Safe?

One more terror has HIT the masses of Mumbai. This time the terrorist are loaded with modern & sophisticated arms. But what about our security. The Mumbai police who has taken the responsibilities to safeguard our life & to add on even the NSG & Indian Navy are in action. But what about their security? Are they provided with well equipped arms. Not really! But still they are on grounds of war since 26Th night 9.45 pm. In past 1 day we have lost 3 of the most brave & responsible officer. ATS Chief late Mr. Hemant Karkare,Ashok Kamte - ACP & Encounter specialist Mr Vijay Salaskar.

This is the most unfortunate movement for mumbaikars who have lost such a brave officer. But we can't just sit back home hopping everything to be fine. This incident has shaken the souls of all the masses across the world. People from all over the world are showing concern for those who lost their lifes & those who are still stuck in. But I truly salute the Indian Arm force for their never deign attitude. They are struggling hard to save the hostages stucked in the 3 attacked places.

At this movement all are blaming the coastal navy force. But, again I would like to bring in notice to all who are reading this post that we all are equally responsible for this lost. Last night i happen to watch the interview of Major Journal Battiji. And he has clearly mentioned that if "For 1 year the entire country is given in our hands, I promised henceforth there will be no such terror wondering on our heads". The reason is that the army personals are not given complete responsibility to manage the issue on their own. Every time bad politics is been played & finally its the army guys who are been questioned.

So guys lets wake up. I request all of you to start using your right of voting. Vote the right person. Lets start cleaning the mess of our country as we clean our house to maintain a healthy environment. Its time were only words are not gonna make any difference we will have to turn them out into action. As per my knowledge the last date to submit the voting forms was 24th of November. But we can still try & request the management to accept our registration forms.

One more major issue which i want to bring in picture is the requirement of the safety measures of our army force. This days hardly any yought wants to join army & looking at the present scenario there are almost null changes of any one to join the arm force. Our army official doesn't have basic safety precautionary things like Bullet Proff jacket and the most horrifying truth is that terrorist are using AK 47 which can fire 600 bullets at 1 time. Were in our force have revolver which seems like a crawling baby in front of them. Lets just not talk about it & blame others.

We can definitely bring in some changes for our future. All the youths can come together & start raising funds which will be exclusively used for the arm force. It might help them to buy upgraded arms & bullet proff jackets, which should be made compulsory for all the army guys. Whether its the inspector or the constables all should be provided with the jackets so that they can handle the situations properly.

One way by which we can raise funds is by paying tax. Till now we use to pay professional tax & educational ess,but from now onwards there should be one more clause added up that will be 1 % safety tax. This shouldn't be made compulsory. But than who wouldn't like to protect their own life. If we make up a bill of 100 rs than 1 rs will be send to Safety funds. This tax will be made applicable on all the things related to our wants i.e shopping, holidays, freaking out with friends, dinners & lunch & so on..

So guys to make this changes in our environment I need your help. As I won't be able to make any changes on my own. This message needs to be spread to as many people as you can. Most of us have accounts on various social networking sites. So guys this is the time to bring in the revolution. If you guys have any suggestion please feel free to post your comments.

Jaago India - Keep Voting | Tata Tea Campaign

Tata Tea came come with a new campaign called "Jaagore". Where in they have emphasized the importance of voting. This was a eye breaker for most of us.Since childhood i had a hard feeling for politic and had never thought of entering in the politics. This was not just with me but with most of us. Everyone wish to be a Doctor, Scientist, Engineer, Managing Directors & so on. But very few of us really wish to be a politician in near future. Over here i would just like to say that the entire concept of politics is been understood wrong by most of the youth.

We never stop from pointing our politicians & their work. We always want to stop bribe, corruption, biased behaviour, illiteracy, poverty, infrastructure, terrorism. But is that all we are doing to stop all this. We realise, we blame , we regret but we don't really take a action to stop this. But i truly appreciate Tata Tea's effort to wake up from deep sleep.

As rightly said by Mahatma Gandhi,
‘we must be the change we want to see in this world’. So before pointing other let us change a bit. Firstly most of us don't utilise our power of voting. And the reason behind it are many, registering for vote is a very confusing & complicated process, i don't have sufficient Proof to register for vote & i don't want to vote as there are many people and my vote won't really make the difference. But do we even know that the youth make up a majority of our billion population. So common everybody lets us all contribute a little bit for our country. United we stand together- lets start registering for the election and vote for a suitable candidate who can look after our problems.

To make the election process more simpler Tata Tea has launched a website
www.jaagoindia.org, which took up different issues from time to time, seeking interaction with the youth and a hunt for possible solutions. On this site you will get updates on:

* Updates on your voter registration status
* Voting and election related news from your city
* Even reminders on Election Day with your polling booth details!

I have registered myself for the elections 2008. What are you guys waiting for.

Don't just vote for the sake, Vote for our country.

Life - As it takes you

One more unique day of my life. The day started pretty well.Things were goin on good & i even had an awesome lunch with my colleagues. But as people say that if u laugh a lot than you are even gonna cry. I experienced the same situation but the only difference was that i din't cry.At this point i would just like to say Life is so just unpredictable. You never know what is gonna happen with you the very next moment.I so really feel that if you wanna live up with your dreams than you have to make yourself really strong. At times you may even have to change yourself as per the circumstances. But than i even din't denied to unusual things comming on my way. I agree to all of them as its a phase of life and you have to leave without any regreats.

But can't really understand the funda which people try to convey. At the end of the day i just believe that if i am right than i am not gonna let myself prove worng by anyone. But than if i am wrong i would also apologise for my mistake & would even try to figure out the mess. Guys i am a human being and not god & am not perfect but than i have entered this industry to learn & to make myself perfect. Well well well i think that's enough for the day.

Till than lets just wait for tomorrow.

HBO starts with Mumbai Calling - A series on BPOs

Hey guys i am back with a new post & this time the subject is really inetrsting. Well its about the new series been showcased by HBO. Mumbai Calling is a comical new series with a thumping Indian star cast.

It's riotous, funny and entertaining series about the business of outsourcing will have you glued to your seats, with a twist in each episode and humorous sequences leaving you with immense anticipation and a yearning to know more!

Mumbai Calling is one of the most veiwed series by the youth. It seems that after Friends, Mumbai Calling has able to attrack the attention of the veiwers. The series revolves around a
British born Indian who is sent to Mumbai to run a call centre and his humorous encounters
with the city and its people. It is, literally, a reversal of call centre mechanics, with the protagonist being taught the accents and mannerisms of Mumbaikars.

The story is set in the Tecknobable Call Centre in downtown Mumbai where England has outsourced its mundane day to day problems to a team of tech-savvy University graduates.
The hilarious adventures of the team are recounted with Kenny Gupta (Sanjeev Bhaskar), a London born accountant who has been sent to run the centre. His journey in Mumbai is redolent with his encounters with Dev Rajaha (Nitin Ganatra), his erstwhile general manager and purveyor of clandestine goods and services who has been running the operation, and with Terri Johnson (Daisy Beaumont), a dynamic, feisty woman who comes from the UK headquarters to streamline the Indian operations.

The story is witty, well written and has rib tickling humour that is bound to engage our Indian viewers. We are especially excited because of the large number of Indians that are part of the star cast of Mumbai Calling.”
